Project Goal

To design and launch a new, intuitive, and engaging alumni directory listing UI for both web and mobile experiences. This feature is to empower students and mentees to effectively search, discover, and connect with alumni, ultimately fostering mentorship opportunities and providing valuable guidance for their post-graduation success.

Responsibilities

Understanding User Needs and Goals: Conducted in-depth user research with both students/mentees and alumni.

Defining the Information Architecture and Search Functionality: Designed the underlying structure and organization of the alumni data to ensure effective searching and filtering.

Designing the Alumni Listing UI (Web and Mobile): Visual design and layout of the alumni directory listings on both web and mobile platforms.

Iterative Prototyping and User Testing: Wireframes and interactive prototypes for both web and mobile to test different design concepts and user flows.

Collaboration and Communication Worked closely with product managers to align the feature with the overall product strategy and technical feasibility.

Defining Success Metrics: Helped define key metrics to measure the success of the new alumni directory feature.
